Salvia ‘Amistad’ (Friendship Sage)

Deep purple, almost black – from June until well into October, ‘Amistad’ opens its pitcher-shaped flowers in dense spikes and retains its color for as long as summer allows. Even when flowering eventually ends, the fresh green of the elongated leaves remains, keeping the garden alive through the gray months.

Location: Sun, slightly dry to fresh, well-drained soil

Plant in groups of 3-5.
