Lupinus polyphyllus ‘Masterpiece’ is for me probably the most beautiful lupine ever. I first saw it in England and looked for it for a long time in Germany. Its unusual dark colour fits wonderfully into pastel-coloured beds and gives them depth and magic. The bushy, upright perennial flowers profusely from May to August. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of about 1 m, making it a highlight in the early summer border!

Plant singly or in small groups if possible.
