Erysimum cheirii ‘Red Jep’ (Wallflower)

Hardly any other perennial masters the play of color as masterfully as the wallflower ‘Red Jep’. Its buds glow in warm orange, the freshly opened flowers deepen to a rich orange-red – and shortly before fading, the plant undergoes another surprising transformation: a vibrant violet. ‘Red Jep’ grows to medium height, branches readily, and bears its raceme inflorescences from April onwards. On warm days, it gives off a soft, sweet aroma – subtle enough to enchant without being overpowering.

Location: Sun, fresh, well-drained soil

Plant in groups of 3-5.
